
DIY: GLITTER AND ORANGE PINECONE ORNAMENTS
The most beautiful pine trees grow in Georgia. On my walks with a certain bird dog and wonderful husband, I’m known to spend more time picking pinecones off the forrest floor than I am watching for pheasants. Once you have amassed a lot of these types of things, you have to figure out something to do with them…I did!

DIY: GINGHAM FABRIC GARLAND
Small scraps of gingham taken from the yardage of well worn shirts and other family heirlooms went into making this very special garland. It's lovely wrapped around the handle of a spring basket, down a railing or around a tree filled with sparkly lights and presents below.

We love giving gifts made in the kitchen –especially on Valentine's Day. Making something for your loved one just seems to say "hey, I dig you" a lot more than a grocery store card.
